Technology, Music, Opinions and Nonsense.

Yep, suck it up, that’s what I do!

Dean Pickersgill, pictured recently.

I’m a teacher, technologist, writer, musician and songwriter.  Amongst other things.

I’m not too proud to say I’ve done some amazing things so far in my life.  I’ve traveled the world, working for some of the biggest companies, written songs, released records.  I’ve been on the radio, the telly.  I’ve built big, important Datacentres all over the world, and I’ve been really really good for the companies I’ve worked for.

I love to pass on my skills.  I also play a song or two, here and there.

On these pages I’ll share ideas, bits of code, bits of prose, the odd bit of music – little bits of me, I suppose 🙂

So this is my Blog, and welcome to it.

    Hi there,

I was just checking out your website, and was very impressed with the quality, look and feel.

I’m sure you have seen a lot of companies are starting to add animated videos to their websites, social media, and YouTube pages to help explain & promote their services in a fun, clear, and engaging way. I think a 60-90 second animated video would be a perfect way for you to get your companies message across to more potential clients.

My team, located Both in Israel and USA, helps businesses create quality customized Character Animation, Motion Graphics, & Whiteboard videos at affordable rates.

I would be happy to set up a call for a consultation and price quote.

    Let’s speak soon.

    Best Regards,

    Business Manager

Carol, I just looked over your website and did a quick bit of analysis based on your source code. It’s awful. Full of rookie mistakes, bad markup, redundant tags, poor commentary … If you’re ‘impressed’ by MY website then I’m not surprised. It’s FAR better than yours.

So rather than asking me to consult with your services I think you’d fare much better in spending a few hours with me. I’ll teach you how to avoid making those business-crippling errors in short order. Who knows, maybe you’ll get work by merit rather than relying on spamming WordPress sites!

      All the best
